Golden Brown

Inspired by "Golden Brown" as performed by The Stranglers (I first heard it on the Snatch soundtrack). I felt very sixties, warm colors (duh), so cross-process was definitely one of the filters I wanted to use. I also was recently influenced by DeviantArt user Usagistu [link] and her use of sketchy lines instead of fine lines in creating some of her final work. I like my sketch work and had been forcing myself to work on my line quality to be more Manga-ish. Thus, the awkwardness of some of my finals that you've seen recently, in comparison with previous work.

This took about an hour on Photoshop, and another fifteen filtering it the way I wanted it on Picasa. Yeah, I still can't get the filters the way I want them on P/s, but hey, whatever works, right?
